Job Summary: Manage all activities related to Security, Health, and Environment & Safety across the company to ensure 100% security, health, environment & safety.
Job Location : Industrial Area, Al Mahjar Phase1
Maximum Total Salary: 10 to 12k All in All
Responsibilities
- Investigate industrial accidents, injuries & occupational diseases causes & take preventive measures
- Report & review findings from accident investigations, facilities inspections & environmental testing
- Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes
- Inspect facilities, machinery & safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards to ensure safety regulations in compliance to local and international safety regulations
- Conduct & coordinate workers training in safety laws & regulations, hazardous condition monitoring & use of safety equipment
- Review employee safety programs to determine employees obtained information on health & safety
- Interview employers and employees about work environments and workplace incidents
- Review plans and specifications for construction of new machinery or equipment to determine whether all safety requirements have been met
- Compile, analyze & interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents
- Interpret safety regulations for safety engineers, labor representatives and safety inspectors
- Recommend process safety methods to reduce employees' exposure to all types of hazards
- Conduct testing of air quality, noise, temperature & radiation levels to verify compliance with health & safety regulations. Write and revise safety regulations and codes
- Provide technical advice and guidance to organizations on how to handle health-related problems and make needed changes. Install safety devices on machinery, or direct device installation
- Consult medical professionals to assess health risks & develop ways to manage health issues
- Liase with fire, mutual aid societies & rescue teams so that emergency responses can be facilitated
- Evaluate adequacy of actions taken to correct health inspection violations
- Check floors of plants to ensure that they are strong enough to support heavy machinery
- Plan and conduct industrial hygiene research, design and build safety equipment
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or any degree from Industrial background
- Must be Saudi National
Skills
- Ability to efficiently & effectively plan & monitor tasks in a very organized & predictive manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic is Must
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in similar role
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
