Role Description This full-time, on-site Salesperson role is based in Amman, Jordan. The Salesperson will identify and engage prospective individual and corporate customers, present MetLife’s insurance and financial solutions, and guide them through the sales process. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining a pipeline of leads, conducting needs assessments, preparing tailored proposals, and closing sales in line with company targets and compliance standards. The role involves regular customer meetings, follow-ups on inquiries, policy reviews with existing clients, and collaboration with internal teams such as underwriting and customer service. The Salesperson will also track performance metrics, maintain accurate records in company systems, and participate in training to stay current on products, regulations, and market trends.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a proven capacity to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent customer relationship management and client service skills, including follow-up and account retention.
- Clear and professional communication skills in English; Arabic fluency highly preferred.
- Basic understanding of insurance and financial products; prior experience in financial services or insurance is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort using CRM tools and standard office software for prospect tracking, reporting, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- High ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance and customer confidentiality.
