About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior IT Security Compliance Analyst to support our information security team in maintaining security standards, reviewing internal controls, and documenting compliance activities.
You will help ensure that IT processes follow established security policies and procedures while gaining practical exposure to information security governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining information security policies and procedures.
- Help collect evidence for internal security reviews and compliance assessments.
- Support reviews of IT security controls and document identified gaps.
- Maintain compliance records, action trackers, and risk documentation.
- Assist with monitoring corrective actions and remediation deadlines.
- Help prepare reports on security compliance and control effectiveness.
- Support internal audits by organizing relevant technical documentation.
- Coordinate with IT teams to gather information about security practices.
- Help promote adherence to established information security requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Basic understanding of IT systems, computer networks, or information technology.
- Interest in cybersecurity, information security, governance, risk, and compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow structured processes and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn security frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred, but not mandatory
- A degree or diploma in IT, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Introductory knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, or information security controls.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, reporting tools, or document management systems.
- Relevant academic projects, training, or entry-level certifications.
