We are currently looking for an experienced Landscape Quantity Surveyor with at least 5-6 years experience of working with Main contractors / Consultants / Clients in the UAE construction industry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand drawings, take-off quantities of landscape items including pricing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications.
- Preparation of BOQ, Variations and Finalizing with the Cost Consultant.
- Preparation of Monthly Progress Bill, Final Accounts, EOT Claims, Contractual letters and delay notifications.
- Review, analyse and compare quotations received from suppliers/subcontractors. Study the qualifications & exclusions and finalize the sub-contractor within the allowable budget.
- Preparation of Subcontractor’s Payment Certificate and final accounts.
- Approval of purchase orders upon verification of budget.
- Arriving the material’s wastage by preparing frequent reconciliations & monitoring.
- Preparation of Budget & Cash flow statement for the financial period for the projects based on planned activities.
- Follow-up with clients for payments regularly.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of advanced Excel.
- Strong knowledge in Contract conditions.
- Analysis of direct and indirect costs for the BOQ items.
- Conduct Site Visit, when required take measurements and monitor progress.
- Strong knowledge in Contract conditions.
