Accountabilities:
•1. Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project scopes and timelines.
Develop and monitor budgets, providing regular updates and forecasts to project stakeholders.
Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
Perform precise quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications to ensure accurate cost calculations.
Validate quantities in contractor submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Track and manage project costs throughout the project lifecycle, highlighting variances and potential overruns.
Conduct regular cost reviews and reconcile actual expenditures against budgeted amounts.
Assist in the preparation of monthly statements, progress payments, and financial reports.
Collaborate with project teams to evaluate the progress of work and ensure alignment with project schedules.
Provide input on the financial impact of design changes, site conditions, and other project variables.
Participate in progress meetings.
Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, and financial transactions for reference and audit purposes.
Prepare comprehensive reports on project financial status, including cash flow projections and cost.
Regularly update logs and track to monitor project budgets,cost variations, and expenditures.
Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
Liaise with contractors and consultants.
Support team members.
