We are looking for an experienced Purchaser to join our team in the UAE, supporting the procurement of permanent construction materials for our building projects.
The role covers the full purchasing process, from sourcing suitable suppliers and reviewing quotations against project specifications and drawings, through technical and commercial comparison, negotiation and purchase order placement. You will work closely with project and technical teams to ensure materials meet the required specifications, quality and project schedule.
Requirements
• Technical degree
• 5 -10 years of construction purchasing experience in the UAE
• Experience working with a main contractor on building projects
• Hands-on experience purchasing permanent construction materials
• Ability to review drawings, specifications and material requirements before placing orders
• Experience sourcing and evaluating suppliers, comparing quotations, negotiating terms and issuing purchase orders
• Knowledge of the UAE construction materials and supplier market
