Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head of Public Safety Liaison MENA in liaising with law enforcement and public safety leaders to promote positive, open, and collaborative relationships.
Ensure platform safety by effectively responding to incidents and providing direct support for complex or critical situations.
Guide law enforcement authorities on supporting investigations in a legal and ethical manner.
Work internally and cross-functionally to identify actions that reduce risks and minimize threats to people, locations, and communities.
Identify, escalate, and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies affecting the platform, people, locations, and communities.
Produce accurate and timely incident updates, post-incident reports, and briefing notes for escalation.
Advocate for the protection and privacy of users' and other parties' data at all times.
Be flexible and available to work weekends and public holidays when required during emergency situations.
Travel across the country as necessary for face-to-face engagements, meetings, and training sessions.
What You'll Need
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience within a law enforcement agency, with prior experience in the Gendarmerie being mandatory.
Candidates must have previous Gendarmerie experience to be considered for this position.
Strong experience working with law enforcement, public safety, security, or government authorities.
Comfortable engaging with law enforcement and public safety officials at all levels in high-pressure and rapidly evolving environments.
Native-level Arabic and professional fluency in English are mandatory.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally.
Good knowledge of computer systems, internet technologies, online research, and digital tools.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to travel within the country as required.
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and public holidays, when necessary.
Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
