Role Description This full-time remote Psychologist role involves providing individual and, when appropriate, family or group therapy to clients experiencing a range of mental health and addiction-related concerns. The Psychologist will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, formulate diagnoses within their scope of practice, and develop person-centered treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include delivering telehealth sessions, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, monitoring client progress, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals when needed. The role also includes psychoeducation, relapse prevention planning, and participation in case discussions to ensure consistent, high-quality care. The Psychologist is expected to uphold professional and ethical standards, maintain client confidentiality, and contribute to a supportive, collaborative clinical environment.
Qualifications
* Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with demonstrated ability to apply psychological theories and evidence-based approaches in clinical practice.
* Competence in Counseling, including individual and group interventions, crisis management, and supportive psychotherapy techniques.
* Experience in Psychological Assessment, including intake evaluations, diagnostic formulation, and use of appropriate screening tools.
* Familiarity with Medicine and psychiatric concepts to collaborate effectively with physicians and other medical professionals on integrated care plans.
* Relevant academic degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology (Master’s or Doctorate preferred), with appropriate licensure or eligibility for licensure in the relevant jurisdiction.
* Prior experience working with clients experiencing addiction, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, or other common mental health conditions is highly beneficial.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document clinical work clearly and manage telehealth interactions professionally.
* Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
* Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and continuous professional development through supervision, training, and staying current with clinical research.
