Position (Job title): Project Engineer CPS EMEA
Reports Operational to:Project Engineer Team Lead / Key Account Director
Reports Functional to: Engineering Director
Main area of responsibilities
- Plan and execute the Engineering and technical part of projects in co-operation with Project Manager respectively.
- Manage the design resources in the project.
- Be the communication channel internally and externally in the technical part of the project.
- Ensure drawings and technical documentation fulfills all stakeholders' requirements and expectations
Role priorities
- Plan and manage the activities within engineering in projects
- Create GA-drawings, assembly drawings, instructions, other specifications to fulfill customer's specifications and in line with Camfil module/standardization approach.
- Ensure that the design is made cost efficient and fulfill customer specification, international and national regulations, and CPS standards and policies, in co-operation with sub-suppliers, manufacturers and other functions involved.
- Ensure that projects fulfill customer specification, international and national regulations, and CPS standards and policies, in co-operation with sub-suppliers, manufacturers and other functions involved.
- Be the customer contact in technical topics in projects.
- Initiate calculations to structural engineering in projects.
- Be an active project team member in following up of projects' progress.
- Manage and supervise the design work in projects, incl. management of subordinates and foreign offices.
- Support Sales and Application with technical solutions.
- Understand our customers' requirements and expectations within Engineering and Design area.
- Translate stakeholders' requirements and expectations into Camfil Power System engineering standards.
Authority & Control
- Full responsibility for the technical part in projects.
- Has the authority to conduct and approve design reviews, drawings and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, alternatively a long production experience and very good product knowledge
- English language both oral and written
- 3D CAD competence and experience, SolidWorks is meriting
- Minimum 2 years' experience as designer CPS with a good knowledge of welded designs.
- Communication skills, resourceful and energetic
- Accurate and structured
