Product Manager: SupportRoom & VAI
MySupportRoom builds two products. SupportRoom is an employee wellbeing platform. VAI turns HR and behavioural data into financial outcomes that CFOs and COOs can act on, with an AI agent running across the whole product. We sell to HR and finance leaders at mid-market, multi-site organisations in the UK and GCC.
The role
We're hiring a hands-on Product Manager to own the roadmap across both products. You'll decide what we build and why. You'll work with the CEO, who signs off product direction, and with the CTO, a small team of engineers and a designer, who own how it gets built.
Our developers build with Claude Code every day, so the quality of the spec decides the quality of what ships.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap and priorities for SupportRoom and VAI, and make the trade-offs explicit
- Talk to customers and prospects directly, sit in on sales calls, and separate real market needs from one-off deal requests
- Turn problems into specs a developer working with Claude Code can build from: problem, scope, acceptance criteria, definition of done
- Spec AI features properly: what a good agent answer looks like, how we test it, and what happens when it's wrong
- Use product data to decide what's working and what to cut
- Keep leadership, sales and marketing clear on what's coming and why, in plain business language
What you'll bring
- 4+ years in product management at a SaaS or software company, owning a roadmap end to end
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code or a similar agentic coding tool, used to prototype, explore a codebase or test a spec
- Enough technical depth to hold your own with developers on APIs, integrations, data models, auth and releases. You won't write production code, but you should be able to follow what's being built and spot the risks.
- Experience shipping AI or LLM-powered features
- The commercial judgement to say no to a loud prospect and explain why
- Clear, concise writing
- Experience working in B2B HR tech, workforce analytics or wellbeing products is a must
Our stack is Laravel/PHP, React, Python/FastAPI, MySQL, AWS and Claude. Familiarity helps but isn't required.
Nice to have
- Working with sensitive personal data or regulated buyers such as banks
- Selling to CFOs or finance teams
Your first 8 weeks
- A prioritised roadmap for both products that the CEO, sales and dev team all understand
- No significant work reaching the dev team without a clear problem, scope and definition of done
- A working route for customer and sales feedback into the roadmap
