Duties & Responsibilities
- * Lead end-to-end procurement activities from demand planning and requirement gathering through sourcing, contract award, purchase order issuance, contract administration, and supplier performance management.
- Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, auctions, and commercial evaluations while ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance.
- Develop procurement strategies that optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), reduce costs, and improve supplier performance.
- Drive procurement initiatives that support revenue growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business transformation.
- Build, develop, and maintain strategic supplier relationships and long-term partnerships.
- Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, service levels, warranties, liabilities, and contractual conditions.
- Review, negotiate, administer, renew, and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, including amendments, change orders, renewals, claims, and contract close-out.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with Procurement Policy, Delegation of Authority (DOA), governance requirements, audit recommendations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Validate procurement requests against approved budgets and financial plans before initiating sourcing activities.
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, supplier capability assessments, and commercial intelligence to identify sourcing opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, service reviews, supplier evaluations, and continuous improvement plans.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial, contractual, operational, financial, and supply chain risks.
- Support business continuity by developing sourcing alternatives and reducing supplier dependency where appropriate.
- Prepare executive reports, procurement dashboards, spend analysis, savings reports, and sourcing recommendations for management.
- Identify and deliver procurement savings, cost avoidance initiatives, and value engineering opportunities.
- Support procurement digitalization, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide procurement guidance and commercial support to cross-functional stakeholders across all business functions.
EducationBachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
Level Of ExperienceIntermediate Experience in procurement in a large organization.
