We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement and contracting activities for major and mega construction projects.
This is a project-focused role requiring strong experience in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, contracts, and high-value procurement packages. The successful candidate will work closely with project, engineering, finance, and legal teams to ensure procurement activities support project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement and contracting activities for major and mega construction projects.
- Develop and execute project procurement strategies and plans aligned with project schedules and budgets.
- Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, commercial evaluations, negotiations, contract drafting and award.
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
- Manage high-value, long-lead and critical procurement packages to ensure timely project delivery.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, finance, and legal teams throughout the procurement and contracting process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
- Lead, guide, and monitor the procurement team during project execution.
- Track procurement progress, risks, and performance through Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
- Drive cost optimization, value engineering and commercial savings while maintaining project quality and technical requirements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and delegation of authority.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement and contracts within the construction industry.
- Strong experience in project-based procurement for major or mega projects.
- Proven experience managing high-value procurement packages and subcontracting activities.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, pricing, bid evaluation, commercial analysis, and contract management.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience leading and managing a procurement team.
- Experience with Power BI, procurement dashboards, and tracking/reporting tools.
- Certifications or formal training in procurement, contracting, or negotiation are preferred.
- Experience in landscaping or public realm projects is an advantage.
