We are seeking an experienced Principal Data Platform Engineer (DPE) to lead the evolution of AMS’ database function from traditional DBA operations to a modern, cloud-native, automation-first database engineering capability. This is a player/coach role responsible for leading the DbOps team while also helping design and implement major database reliability, modernization, automation, and platform initiatives.
The successful candidate will combine deep database expertise with cloud engineering, reliability engineering, DevOps practices, AI-assisted operations, and strong people leadership. This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, SRE, and Cloud Operations to deliver reliable, secure, cost-effective, and scalable database platforms.

Our Benefits & RewardsThe salary range for this position is $44,000 to $96,700 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
