Your new working environment
As a Pricing Analyst, you play an important role in shaping the commercial proposals behind new and existing customer partnerships. You dive into customer profiles, logistics processes and financial data to understand what a customer really needs and translate this into a solution that works both operationally and commercially. Your analyses form the foundation for pricing proposals and business cases that directly influence commercial decisions and new customer contracts.
You won’t be doing this alone. You work closely with colleagues from Warehouse Engineering, Operations and Commercial teams to explore different scenarios and determine the right approach for each customer. By combining data on volumes, productivity, operational processes and costs, you build clear pricing models and simulations and turn complex information into convincing proposals. You also keep an eye on market rates, trends and previous proposal outcomes to continuously strengthen the way the company approaches pricing.
As you grow into the role, you take ownership of increasingly complex international business cases and gain exposure to customers and senior stakeholders within the company. You will have the opportunity to present your analyses, challenge existing assumptions and contribute your own ideas on how pricing processes and tools can be improved. This makes the role a combination of analytical depth, commercial thinking and international logistics, with plenty of room to make an impact and develop further.
