Serendib Training & Consulting is seeking a highly experienced PMI-PMP® Exam Preparation Trainer to deliver professional PMP certification programmes for experienced professionals within the banking and financial services sector.
We are specifically looking for a trainer who combines extensive PMP exam preparation training experience, hands-on banking work experience, and practical involvement in banking transformation projects.
Essential Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- PMI-PMP® certification in good standing, with strong practical project management experience across project planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
- Substantial and demonstrable experience delivering PMI-PMP® exam preparatory workshops, including exam-focused instruction, practice questions, mock examinations and participant coaching.
- Strong knowledge of the current PMP Examination Content Outline and applicable PMI standards/guidance, including PMBOK® Guide – Eighth Edition.
- Professional work experience within banking or financial services, with a sound understanding of the banking environment.
- Hands-on experience managing, leading or contributing to banking transformation projects, such as digital transformation, technology implementation, process improvement, regulatory change, operational transformation or organisational change.
- Proven instructional and facilitation skills, including the ability to establish clear learning objectives, structure effective sessions and facilitate engaging discussions.
- Ability to contextualise PMI concepts through real-world banking scenarios, projects and transformation challenges.
- Ability to deliver training on-site in Doha, Qatar, including evenings or weekends where required.
The trainer should be able to bridge PMP examination preparation with practical project management application, enabling participants to understand both how to approach the PMP examination and how project management principles apply to complex banking initiatives.
