Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, review and validate prescriptions, and provide clear counseling to patients on dosage, side effects, and proper use. Daily responsibilities include managing medication inventory, checking expiry dates, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and pharmacy standards. The role involves coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals when needed, handling insurance-related queries, and maintaining accurate patient and prescription records. The Pharmacist will also support over-the-counter recommendations, contribute to a clean and organized work environment, and deliver courteous, professional service to every patient.
Qualifications
* Licensed Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) and eligibility to practice in Egypt.
* Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and local pharmacy regulations.
* Ability to provide clear patient counseling, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing, labeling, and documentation, with strong organizational skills.
* Comfort working with pharmacy software, prescription processing systems, and basic computer applications.
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced retail or community pharmacy setting, including weekends or shifts as required.
* Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous learning in pharmaceutical care.
* Previous experience in community or retail pharmacies in Cairo or similar environments is an advantage.
