Job Purpose
Lead and manage a team of Direct Sales / Personal Banking Officers to achieve sales targets across the bank's retail and wealth products. The role combines team leadership, sales strategy and personal sales, as the Supervisor holds an individual target in addition to the team target.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate a team of direct sales officers to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to grow the customer base and product penetration.
- Generate new leads and business opportunities through direct sales, referrals, corporate tie-ups and market activities.
- Achieve a personal sales target alongside the overall team target.
- Promote and cross-sell the full range of banking products, including accounts, cards, personal loans, auto and mortgage loans, deposits, bancassurance and wealth/investment products.
- Allocate targets, monitor daily team performance, and prepare regular sales and pipeline reports for management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value customers, with a focus on wealth and affluent segments.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with bank policies, KYC/AML requirements and QCB regulations.
- Identify training needs and support the development of team members.
- Handle escalations and ensure a high standard of customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking or a related field.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor in direct sales within a local bank in Qatar.
- Most recent experience must be in banking in a team leader role.
- Wealth banking experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of all retail banking products and Qatar's banking market.
- Proven track record of achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning and lead-generation skills.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Valid Qatar driving license.
- Valid Qatar residence permit (QID) and transferable sponsorship preferred.
