We are seeking a skilled Specialist Medical Oncologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in diagnosing and managing cancer patients through comprehensive, evidence-based medical oncology care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of malignant conditions.
- Develop individualized cancer treatment plans based on clinical assessment and investigations.
- Administer and monitor systemic cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.
- Monitor treatment response and manage therapy-related complications and side effects.
- Provide supportive and palliative care as appropriate.
- Review and interpret relevant laboratory, imaging, and pathology reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists.
- Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
RequirementsQualifications & Requirements
- * MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- MD/DNB/DM or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Medical Oncology.
- Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
- Strong clinical experience in managing solid tumors and hematological malignancies.
- Good knowledge of modern systemic cancer therapies.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-management skills.
