Manager, Business Development – AI & Space Ground Stations

About the role
Business Development Manager with an engineering background to grow our AI and space ground systems portfolio across the UAE and region. You'll be the technical face with government and defence customers—shaping credible solutions and converting them into contracts.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and pursue opportunities in AI-enabled space and ground segment systems (ground stations, mission control, data processing)
- Lead technical discussions with customers
- Shape solutions with engineering teams and partners (architecture, integration, delivery)
- Own capture: bid strategy, proposals, pricing, presentations
- Build senior relationships with ministries, space agencies, armed forces and primes
- Map competitors (Airbus, L3Harris, Lockheed Martin) and position our offering
- Manage pipeline and forecast accurately
- Work with local partners on in-country participation
Essential
- Degree in engineering, computer science, physics or related
- Background in AI/ML, space ground systems, SATCOM or systems integration
- Experience in solution architecture or client-facing technical roles, ideally moving into BD/capture
- Systems-level thinking and solution-oriented approach
- Track record of owning a bid, account or programme
- Strong communication with technical and executive audiences
