WE ARE HIRING: IN-HOUSE LEGAL COUNSEL (CORPORATE & COMMERCIAL)
ZAKH Group is a UAE solar PV module manufacturer and EPC contractor operating in the GCC, Africa and Europe. We are looking for an in-house Legal Counsel to support our factory, EPC projects and new partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts: supply and sales agreements, distribution, agency and commission agreements, NDAs, MoUs
EPC and construction contracts (FIDIC-based), subcontractor and O&M agreements
Partnership and JV structures, PPAs and project documentation
Contract risk review, approval workflow and contract register for all group entities
Corporate matters across free zone and mainland companies (RAKEZ, IFZA, Abu Dhabi), licences, POAs, board resolutions
Support on employment contracts, disputes and correspondence with external law firms
Requirements:
Law degree and 4+ years of commercial or corporate legal experience, preferably in manufacturing, energy, construction or trading
Solid knowledge of UAE Civil and Commercial Transactions Law, the Commercial Agencies Law and free zone regulations
Understanding of international trade terms: Incoterms, letters of credit, warranties, liability and indemnity clauses
Fluent English. Arabic is a strong advantage
Ability to work independently, fast turnaround on contracts, practical business-oriented approach
