DARE21 is looking for a Junior Videographer & Video Editor with hands-on experience in both shooting and editing to join our video department.
You’ll work with our creative and production teams on social media content, brand campaigns, TV commercials (TVCs), studio shoots, and on-ground productions. This role suits someone early in their career who already has a solid foundation, an eye for detail, and the motivation to develop through varied client projects.
Key Responsibilities
- * Shoot and edit content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms, including Reels, short-form videos, interviews, and product videos.
- Create engaging social media edits with strong hooks, pacing, storytelling, captions, music, and sound design.
- Support the production and editing of TVCs and branded campaign videos under the team’s direction.
- Participate in studio and on-location shoots, on-ground activations, and event coverage.
- Assist with camera, lighting, and audio setups, equipment preparation, and on-set production needs.
- Follow creative briefs, scripts, shot lists, and brand guidelines while contributing ideas.
- Handle footage organisation, backups, basic colour correction, audio cleanup, and final exports.
- Adapt videos to different formats, aspect ratios, and platform requirements.
- Work closely with the team to implement feedback and meet production deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
- * Practical experience in videography and video editing.
- A portfolio demonstrating both shooting and editing skills, particularly for social media.
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- A working understanding of camera settings, composition, lighting, and sound recording.
- Familiarity with social media video trends and the ability to adapt them to different brands.
- Attention to detail, good organisation, and the ability to follow a brief.
- A collaborative attitude, openness to feedback, and willingness to learn.
- Availability to attend studio shoots and travel to project locations as required.
Basic After Effects skills, motion graphics experience, and previous exposure to commercial production sets are a plus.
