Electronics Engineer (Starter/0-3 years)
At Looper Engineering you work on cutting-edge power electronics for the semiconductor, medical and hydrogen industries. You design, develop and test electronics for advanced power converters used in mission-critical high-tech applications, and you bring your designs to life through hands-on testing and validation. Over time you grow in the direction that suits you, whether that is RF, DC/DC conversion, precision analog electronics or a broad technical profile.
The role
- Location: Brainport region around Eindhoven.
- Experience: 0 to 3 years, recent graduates welcome.
- Salary: competitive, indicatively around €3,100 to €4,500 gross per month depending on experience.
What you will do
- Develop electronics from start to finish for existing power conversion products.
- Select and integrate electronic components and design PCBAs.
- Document design choices and run simulations and analyses in tools such as MATLAB and LTspice.
- Contribute to risk management activities such as DFMEA and PFMEA.
- Review PCB designs and related parts.
- Support prototype manufacturing and troubleshoot hardware during qualification and integration.
- Create test plans and specifications, perform tests and review the results.
What you bring
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a related field.
- A passion for power, analog and digital electronics, interface technologies, signal integrity and PCB design.
- Familiarity with lab measurement equipment and simulation and analysis tools.
- Curiosity and the drive to keep exploring new technologies, tools and methods.
- Ownership of your work, with an eye for quality and completeness.
- Enjoyment in solving complex technical challenges together in multidisciplinary teams.
