WE’RE HIRING | INSPECTION ENGINEER – AQABA
PETRA Engineering for Inspection & Services is seeking a qualified Inspection Engineer for a one-year assignment in Aqaba, Jordan.
The selected candidate will be required to reside in Aqaba for the duration of the assignment and support industrial inspection, QA/QC, NDT coordination, technical reporting, and related engineering activities.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Relevant practical experience in Inspection / QA-QC / NDT, preferably within industrial plants, petrochemical facilities, or cement plants
• Experience in inspection of Piping, Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Steel Structures, and Welding
• Ability to read and understand P&ID, Isometric Drawings, and Fabrication Drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to prepare and review Inspection Reports, Inspection Checklists, and Inspection Records
• Ability to review MTC, WPS, PQR, WPQ, and NDT records
• Ability to analyze inspection results and issue appropriate technical recommendations
• Professional certification in Inspection and/or NDT is preferred
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
• Good technical English, both written and spoken
• Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills
Location: Aqaba, Jordan
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Residency: Candidate must be available to reside in Aqaba during the assignment
