Build the next stage of SharpMinds’ commercial growth
You know the IT staffing and recruitment industry. You have won new clients, built lasting relationships and learned what makes a sales organisation work. Now you are ready to take the lead yourself.
At SharpMinds, you will work closely with our CEO to shape our commercial direction. You will have the freedom to bring your own ideas, the responsibility to turn them into results and the opportunity to build a team as we grow.
Your impact as Head of Sales
SharpMinds helps Dutch software companies grow with senior developers from Portugal and Ukraine. Our developers become long-term members of our clients’ teams, working under the clients’ day-to-day direction.
Your first priority is to create commercial impact yourself. You will meet CTOs and other tech leaders, develop relationships, win new clients and turn opportunities into revenue. Alongside that work, you will bring focus and structure to our sales process: clear priorities, a well-managed pipeline and a practical plan for growth.
You will have a foundation to build on. We already use Pipedrive, prospecting tools, automations, partners, trade shows, networking and our own events to create opportunities. You can develop these channels, improve them or introduce new approaches.
As the business grows, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a sales team in the Netherlands or across our locations in Portugal and Ukraine. We also have ambitions to enter new markets beyond the Netherlands, and we are prepared to invest in that growth.
What you will do:
- Win new clients through your own network, outreach and conversations with decision-makers.
- Develop and execute a sales plan with clear priorities and measurable goals.
- Qualify opportunities, manage the pipeline and improve forecasting in Pipedrive.
- Strengthen our lead generation approach together with our Marketing Manager in the Netherlands.
- Work closely with our Account Manager, and with recruiters and Project Managers in Lisbon and Ukraine, to turn client needs into successful long-term collaborations.
- Identify opportunities in new markets and help determine where SharpMinds should invest.
- Build, coach and lead a sales team as our commercial organisation grows
What you bring:
- Strong experience in IT staffing, IT recruitment or a closely related market.
- A proven ability to generate new business and build lasting client relationships.
- Experience developing a sales approach, commercial processes or a team.
- The ability to bring structure and focus to a pipeline without slowing things down.
- A strong network, initiative and the drive to turn plans into revenue.
- The ambition to grow into a broader commercial leadership role while helping SharpMinds grow.
We offer:
- The freedom to shape our sales approach and make a direct impact on growth.
- The opportunity to build your own team and help us enter new markets.
- A good base salary and a bonus structure that rewards strong commercial results.
- A company car and a gym membership.
- Hybrid working, with our Amersfoort office as your home base.
- Close collaboration with colleagues in the Netherlands, Portugal and Ukraine.
- Annual visits to our team in Portugal. When circumstances allow, we hope to visit our colleagues in Ukraine again too.
