Daira is a UAE-licensed, AI-native accounting, bookkeeping and tax-compliance firm serving SMEs across the UAE and Bahrain. Our platform, OneFinance, combines AI agents with expert accountants to give business owners accurate books, compliant tax filings and real-time financial insight.
The role
You own what we build and why. You'll turn strategy into a quarterly plan and clear requirements, and make sure every feature delivers what it promises. You report to the Chief Product & Technology Officer and work closely with the CEO, Tech and Client Success. This is a founding product role with a clear path to broader product leadership as the company grows.
What you'll do
- Define product strategy with the CEO and CPTO and break it into a quarterly plan
- Own the backlog: timing, business impact and tech effort for each feature
- Write user stories and PRDs, and keep them ready two sprints ahead
- Gather and prioritize ideas from leadership, business teams and clients
- Run sprint planning with Tech and business testing (UAT) before release
- Benchmark international peers and competitors to keep Daira ahead
- Review features after launch to confirm adoption and results
How success is measured
Features delivered vs. plan, target outcomes met after launch, first-round UAT acceptance, backlog readiness, and client adoption.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in product management, ideally in fintech, SaaS or B2B for SMEs
- Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-based products
- Strong customer discovery skills; comfortable talking directly to business owners
- Clear, structured writing (PRDs, user stories, roadmaps)
- Experience working closely with engineering in agile sprints
- Plus: knowledge of accounting, tax or finance workflows, and the UAE/GCC market
