Role Description The Head of Counseling is a full-time, on-site role based in the Riyadh Region, responsible for leading the school’s counseling services and student support programs. Day-to-day tasks include providing individual and group counseling, overseeing academic and career guidance, and supporting students’ social and emotional development. The role involves managing counseling staff, developing and implementing counseling policies, and coordinating with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs. The Head of Counseling will also design preventive programs, lead awareness workshops, maintain confidential records, and ensure adherence to school policies and relevant professional standards.

- * Demonstrated expertise in school counseling, student guidance, and social-emotional support.
- Strong skills in communication, active listening, empathy, and conflict resolution.
- Experience in program development, case management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to lead a counseling department, mentor staff, and manage counseling operations.
- Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality, ethical practice, and professional documentation standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably in a leadership or senior counseling role.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and respond effectively to urgent student needs.
