Role Description The Full-stack Web Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications that span both front-end interfaces and back-end services. Day-to-day tasks include building responsive user interfaces, implementing server-side logic and APIs, integrating databases, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. The role involves collaborating with designers and other developers, reviewing code, troubleshooting issues, and participating in the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Baqubah, requiring consistent coordination with the local team and active participation in in-person meetings and reviews.
Qualifications
* Front-end development skills, including experience with HTML, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and JavaScript frameworks.
* Back-end web development skills, covering server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database integration.
* Full-stack development capabilities, with the ability to work across both client-side and server-side components.
* Software development skills, including version control (e.g., Git), debugging, testing, and code optimization.
* Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance best practices.
* Ability to collaborate in a team environment, communicate clearly, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience with modern development workflows, such as CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with security best practices is beneficial.
