Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electromechanic Engineer role based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Electromechanic Engineer will oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment and systems, ensuring reliable and safe performance. Daily tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising electrical and mechanical work, and coordinating with technicians and other engineers on project execution. The role involves preparing technical reports, documenting maintenance activities, and supporting upgrades or modifications to existing systems. The Electromechanic Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure reliable operation of electromechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess solid experience in Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve equipment and system failures efficiently.
- Candidates should possess a sound understanding of Electricity and basic electrical engineering principles relevant to electromechanical systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects, preferably in contracting or engineering environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of safety standards, relevant codes, and best practices for on-site engineering work.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work on-site, respond to urgent maintenance needs, and support flexible schedules when project demands require.
