Job PurposeLead electrical project execution, operation and maintenance for the pharmaceutical facility to provide safe, reliable power to production, utilities, laboratories, warehouses and GMP-critical systems. Support new projects, expansions, modifications and routine operations in accordance with approved engineering specifications, applicable electrical standards, GMP and EHS requirements.
Qualifications And Functional KnowledgeBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing, with hands-on project, plant maintenance and commissioning experience.
Proven experience with LV/MV distribution, transformers, diesel generators and synchronization, UPS, MCC/PCC, VFDs, motors and protection systems.
Knowledge of GMP, EHS, applicable electrical standards, electrical safety and qualification documentation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred. Experience with CMMS or SAP PM is an advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical work for new facilities and plant expansions from design review and technical evaluation through procurement support, installation, commissioning, and handover.
Review single-line diagrams, load calculations, cable sizing and routing, equipment specifications and distribution layouts. Approve technical documents within delegated authority.
Manage the operation and maintenance of LV/MV distribution, transformers, diesel generator synchronization, UPS, MCC/PCC, VFDs, motors, protection, earthing and lighting systems.
Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance, manage breakdowns, and coordinate shutdowns to improve system availability and minimize plant downtime.
Investigate electrical failures, lead root cause analysis, and implement engineering corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate quality-impacting investigations with QA.
Coordinate electrical supplies, control interfaces and automation interfaces for HVAC, cleanrooms, utilities, process equipment, laboratories and critical pharmaceutical systems.
Lead FAT/SAT, electrical testing and commissioning. Support DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ, as applicable to system criticality and approved protocols, in coordination with QA and equipment owners.
Enforce electrical safety, EHS, lockout/tagout and permit-to-work requirements. Implement electrical modifications through approved change-control and engineering procedures.
Manage electrical contractors, consultants and suppliers, evaluate technical bids, and monitor execution quality, schedules and costs within approved budgets.
Maintain current drawings, specifications, as-built documentation, asset registers, maintenance records and qualification support records.
Monitor electrical consumption, maximum demand, power factor and power quality, and implement practical energy-saving and reliability improvements.
Supervise and develop assigned engineers and technicians. Coordinate project and maintenance activities with QA, Production, QC, Utilities, HVAC, Civil, IT and Supply Chain.
