We are looking for highly experienced Drainage / Wastewater professionals to join a major drainage operations and maintenance project in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert technical, strategic and financial advice on drainage and wastewater operations in Qatar
• Advise management on applicable laws, regulations, governance and compliance requirements
• Provide leadership and guidance across drainage operations and maintenance activities
• Support effective management of wastewater treatment and water treatment functions
• Ensure compliance with Enterprise Drainage Asset Management System (EDAMS), Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and other relevant systems
• Identify and eliminate redundant or duplicated processes and activities
• Advise and manage Project Management Consultants (PMCs) as required
• Monitor operational risks, contract performance, governance and regulatory compliance
• Evaluate policies, programmes and practices and recommend improvements to enhance DNOMD performance
• Support business transformation, operational improvement and cross-functional alignment
• Ensure the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, quality and integrity
Requirements
• 30+ years of total professional experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the wastewater industry
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) organization
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or a relevant discipline
• Experience in wastewater, drainage, treatment plants and related infrastructure
• Experience in Operation & Maintenance, Project Management, Contract Management and/or Financial Management
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary organization, preferably in the Middle East
• Proven experience providing technical, strategic and business advice within the wastewater/drainage sector
