Director of the Technical Office

The Egyptian Chinese University (ECU) is seeking an exceptional, highly accomplished professional to lead our Technical Office as the Director of the Technical Office. This critical leadership role serves as the strategic bridge between senior university leadership, academic faculties, and external higher education authorities. The ideal candidate brings extensive expertise in higher education administration, official governance, and institutional communications to drive administrative excellence across our growing university.
Key Responsibilities
● Governance & Committee Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end management, documentation, agenda setting, and execution of university and technical committees across all ECU faculties.
● Institutional Liaison: Act as the primary liaison representing ECU to external academic institutions, governmental bodies, and higher education authorities.
● Executive Support & Advisory: Provide high-level operational and administrative support to senior university leadership on academic policies, regulations, and strategic initiatives.
● Operational Follow-Through: Drive the seamless implementation and tracking of committee decisions, administrative mandates, and cross-departmental tasks across university faculties.
● Official Communications & Archiving: Direct all high-level official correspondence and manage secure digital archiving systems to maintain complete administrative confidentiality and compliance.
● Delegation & Event Coordination: Manage administrative arrangements for incoming official delegations, technical evaluations, academic reviews, and accreditation visits.
Qualifications & Requirements
● Education: PhD degree from a recognized institution.
● Experience: Extensive background in Higher Education, University Management, or Academic Administration. Proven expertise dealing with university committees and statutory authorities is required.
● System Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Egyptian higher education landscape, university administrative structures, and regulatory frameworks.
● Languages & Tech: Native-level fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English, alongside mastery of digital university management systems and standard office software.
Preferred Qualifications
● Prior experience in senior academic management or direct liaison roles with the Supreme Council of Universities.
● Demonstrated track record managing academic reviews, accreditation processes, and institutional evaluations.
