Role Description The Chinese & Arabic & French Translator is a full-time, on-site role based in Tangier. This role involves translating written documents, emails, contracts, and technical materials between Chinese, Arabic, French, and English while maintaining accuracy, tone, and context. The translator will interpret during meetings, site visits, and calls to facilitate communication between multilingual stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and standardizing terminology, ensuring consistency across materials, and collaborating with internal departments to support sales, production, and logistics. The role also includes proofreading translated content, clarifying language nuances, and providing cultural and linguistic guidance to colleagues.
Qualifications
- Strong translation skills in Chinese, Arabic, French, and English, including general Translation and French Translation.
- Experience with Interpreting in business or industrial settings to support meetings and live discussions.
- Ability to manage and standardize Terminology, especially for technical and industry-specific content.
- Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, across multiple languages.
- Relevant academic background in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, or international trade environments is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
- Proficiency with common office software and, ideally, basic familiarity with translation tools or CAT software.
