About the Role:
Cultural Assets Group is seeking a Group Chief Operating Officer to lead the operational activities of the Group and its subsidiary companies. Reporting to the Group CEO, the Group COO will ensure the achievement of strategic objectives, enhance operational efficiency, drive integration across subsidiaries, and improve the quality of execution and operational performance, while ensuring full compliance with the Group's governance, policies, and approved standards.
The role leads efforts in operational excellence, performance management, process development, and operational sustainability in support of the Group's growth, expansion, and financial, operational, and strategic targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Group Operational Leadership:
- Lead and manage the operational performance of all subsidiary companies and Group projects
- Translate the Group's strategy into actionable operational plans at the subsidiary level
- Track the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure delivery within approved timelines
- Support the CEOs of subsidiary companies in addressing operational challenges and improving
Performance and Operations Management:
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs at both Group and subsidiary levels
- Analyze variances and put in place the required corrective action plans
- Submit periodic reports to the Group CEO and the Executive Committee on operational performance and challenges
- Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity and to reduce waste and operating costs
Process Development and Operational Governance:
- Develop and standardize operational frameworks, policies, and procedures across the Group
- Oversee the improvement of operational processes to deliver agility, efficiency, and sustainability
- Oversee the design and activation of operational frameworks and internal controls
Subsidiary Management and Enterprise Integration:
- Strengthen integration and coordination across subsidiaries to maximize the value of shared resources and expertise
- Support the deployment and effective use of Shared Services models
- Oversee the allocation of operational resources in line with Group priorities
- Support the operational and execution dimensions of new Group expansions and projects
Operational Transformation and Development:
- Lead operational and digital transformation initiatives
- Support process automation and the enhancement of operational systems
- Adopt international best practices in operations and enterprise management
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across subsidiaries
Operational Risk and Compliance:
- Oversee operational risk management and mitigation plans
- Ensure subsidiary compliance with applicable regulations and approved policies
- Work with Legal, Finance, and HR to ensure integrated enterprise governance
- Ensure readiness of business continuity plans and effective management of operational crises
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a strategic partner to the Group CEO and Group Executive Management
- Represent the operational dimension in executive and strategic forums
- Support the Board of Directors and Executive Committees on matters relating to performance and operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline; Master's degree (MBA) or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 15 years of experience in operations or executive management
- Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in an executive or senior supervisory role
- Experience managing multiple companies, group structures, or complex operational environments
- Experience in enterprise transformation, process improvement, and corporate performance management - Experience in cultural, entertainment, retail, or multi-business sectors is preferred
