Role Description The BIM Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Ad-Duqqi, responsible for developing and managing architectural Building Information Models for a variety of construction projects. The role involves producing and coordinating detailed architectural and construction drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards. The BIM Architect will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams to review and integrate submittals, resolve design clashes, and support project planning and execution. Daily tasks include maintaining model accuracy, updating documentation throughout the project lifecycle, and contributing to design optimization and constructability reviews. The individual will also support continuous improvement of BIM workflows, templates, and standards within SAMMAN GROUP.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture, with the ability to translate design intent into practical solutions and detailed documentation.
- Proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, including coordination with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM), including model creation, coordination, clash detection, and data management.
- Knowledge of Submittals processes, including preparing, reviewing, and tracking technical documentation and approvals.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard BIM and CAD tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or equivalent).
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with local and international building codes and standards.
- Previous experience in construction or contracting environments is highly beneficial.
