Job Purpose
The Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s non-monetary employee benefits and perks, with the objective of improving employee experience, engagement, and overall value proposition. The role focuses on developing attractive benefit offerings, managing external partnerships, and ensuring employees are aware of and able to effectively utilize available benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously enhance the company’s non-monetary benefits and employee perks portfolio.
- Identify and introduce new benefits that support employee needs, engagement, wellbeing, and overall experience.
- Establish partnerships and corporate agreements with external providers to secure exclusive employee discounts, privileges, and special offers.
- Manage benefits such as corporate discounts, entertainment and leisure offers, gym and wellness programs, learning opportunities, and other employee privileges.
- Negotiate with vendors and service providers to achieve competitive offerings and added value for employees.
- Regularly benchmark market practices and identify new trends and innovative employee benefits.
- Develop and maintain a structured benefits calendar, ensuring continuous and diverse offerings throughout the year.
- Communicate available benefits and new partnerships effectively across the organization to maximize employee awareness and utilization.
- Monitor employee participation and utilization of benefits and gather feedback to assess their effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of benefit providers, agreements, eligibility criteria, validity periods, and renewal dates.
- Coordinate benefit launches, renewals, campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Prepare periodic reports on benefit utilization, employee feedback, vendor performance, and overall program effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, Employee Experience, Benefits, Employee Engagement, or a related function.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good market research and benchmarking capabilities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
