Role Description This is a full-time, on-site محامي (Lawyer) role based in Cairo, Egypt. The lawyer will provide legal advice and support across the Egyptian Olympic Committee’s activities, including contracts, labor and employment matters, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing agreements, preparing legal opinions, conducting legal research, and supporting negotiations with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves advising on governance issues, ensuring adherence to national laws and relevant sports regulations, and representing the Committee before administrative bodies or courts when needed. The lawyer will collaborate with management, HR, and sports federations to manage legal risks and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications
- * Strong foundation in Law, with practical experience in Labor and Employment Law within Egypt.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear, actionable Legal Advice and support decision-making for organizational leadership.
- Proficiency in legal Research, including analysis of legislation, case law, and regulatory frameworks relevant to sports and public entities.
- Effective Negotiation skills, with experience handling contracts, settlements, and stakeholder discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); admission to practice law in Egypt is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic; working proficiency in English is highly desirable.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in sports law, public or administrative law, or work with governmental or semi-governmental bodies is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple cases or projects simultaneously.
