About The RoleWe are seeking a motivated Associate / Junior Security Analyst to join our Information Security team in Dubai. This is an entry-level role designed for candidates with strong cybersecurity fundamentals, a curious mindset, and a genuine interest in building a long-term career in security operations and incident response.
The final job title will be confirmed based on the candidate’s assessment and demonstrated capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- * Assist in monitoring, triaging, and investigating security alerts from SIEM/SOC platforms.
- Support incident response activities, including initial analysis, documentation, and follow-up tasks.
- Help perform basic vulnerability management and security hygiene checks.
- Contribute to log analysis, threat detection, and security tool tuning under guidance.
- Document findings clearly and maintain accurate records of security events and actions taken.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new security tools, technologies, and best practices.
Mandatory Requirements
- * Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (fresh graduates eligible).
- Strong fundamentals in:
- Networking and operating systems
- Access control, web/application security, and common threats
- Basic understanding of SOC/SIEM workflows, log and alert analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Ability to interpret technical evidence, document findings clearly, and learn security tools quickly.
- Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- * Exposure to any of the following:
- Microsoft Sentinel / Defender, KQL, Azure/AWS
- Linux, Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite
- Basic scripting/automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Awareness of ISO 27001, NIST, and OWASP
- Projects or internships in areas such as SOC operations, cloud security, incident response, penetration testing, security automation, or AI/LLM security.
- Master’s degree in Cyber Security or relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, Microsoft/Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
