The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a motivated Associate Research scientist to work under the supervision of Professor Pradeep George in process Optimization, with emphasis on Chemical vapor Deposition (CVD). The successful applicant must have a strong background in the area of Computational Fluid Dynamics.
Familiarity with response surface modeling and optimization, is a plus. Experience using commercial codes like ANSYS-FLUENT is desirable.
An Associate Research Scientist/Scholar typically holds a PhD or equivalent terminal degree with at least 3 years of relevant post-degree experience in their field. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists and undergraduate students. In addition to conducting high-quality, innovative research, responsibilities include publishing research findings in scientific journals and conferences, mentoring undergraduate students, and participating in drafting research grant proposals.
