About The RoleAbu Khader Automotive is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team and perform intermediate accounting functions across the General Ledger and financial reporting, in line with company policies and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- * Prepare journal entries (cash, accruals, consolidation, and elimination) and post all invoices and vouchers accurately and on time.
- Support the Chief Accountant in preparing monthly financial statements and quarterly cash flow forecasts.
- Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and monthly reconciliations for the General Ledger, major vendors, and insurance companies.
- Prepare, follow up on, extend, and cancel bank guarantees and letters, and prepare letters of credit.
- Audit daily cash reports, bank wires, and cheques, and follow up with cashiers on timely fund transfers.
- Manage customer cheques, promissory notes, and payments of due invoices, and follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Handle payroll verifications, staff loan ceilings, and monthly payroll deductions.
- Finalize tax-related reports and entries and monitor taxation issues.
- Generate expense reports and maintain the petty cash fund.
- Audit branch expenditures and perform year-end audits of branch and cashier balances.
- Maintain accurate filing and traceability of all financial documents.
Requirements
- * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of labour law, financial regulations, and legislation.
- Excellent English and Arabic, written and spoken.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
