Software Engineer

Job Purpose:
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving software solutions and system integrations that support retail operations, ensuring seamless connectivity across stores, sales, inventory, ERP, POS, and e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications supporting retail operations.
- Build and manage integrations between ERP, POS, e-commerce, inventory, payment, and other business systems.
- Ensure accurate and seamless data flow between physical stores and central systems.
- Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations.
- Troubleshoot software issues, system errors, and integration failures.
- Collaborate with Retail, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and other departments to deliver technical solutions.
- Support system setup and integrations for new store openings.
- Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and automation.
- Monitor applications and resolve technical issues affecting business operations.
- Participate in testing, deployment, upgrades, and implementation of new systems and features.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow software development and security best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience in software development and system integration.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, and backend development.
- Experience with ERP, POS, e-commerce, or retail systems is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
