We’re Hiring: Senior Technical Engineer | Deye MENA
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
3–5 years of relevant experience in solar PV, energy storage, power electronics, or related electrical systems.
We are looking for a Senior Technical Engineer to lead technical activities across pre-sales, commissioning, training, and after-sales for Deye inverters and battery energy storage systems across the MENA region.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced guidance on product selection, system sizing, PV and battery configurations, and system architecture.
Review technical designs and lead commissioning, configuration, and testing of inverter and battery systems.
Diagnose complex issues, manage technical escalations, and coordinate with Deye Engineering and R&D teams.
Deliver training to engineers, distributors, installers, and regional partners.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, troubleshooting procedures, and product guides.
Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with Sales and After-Sales teams.
Represent Deye at exhibitions, technical events, customer meetings, and major project sites.
Strong practical knowledge of inverters, battery systems, and electrical integration.
Hands-on experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and reviewing electrical diagrams.
Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to independently manage technical cases from diagnosis through resolution.
Willingness to travel and perform site work across the MENA region.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Deye products or similar inverter and battery systems.
Experience in technical pre-sales, customer training, and commercial or industrial project commissioning.
Language Requirement:
Proficiency in Arabic and English. French is preferred.
