Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role for a tea showroom located in a mall in Shuwaikh. The Sales Associate will welcome customers, provide product information about different tea varieties and accessories, and offer tastings or demonstrations when applicable. Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products, processing sales transactions, and handling returns or exchanges in line with company policies. The role also involves maintaining visual merchandising standards, replenishing stock, keeping the showroom clean and organized, and assisting with basic inventory checks. The Sales Associate will support promotional activities, share feedback from customers with the team, and contribute to a positive, professional showroom environment.
Qualifications
* Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to engage with diverse customers, build rapport, and handle inquiries professionally.
* Basic product knowledge and interest in tea, with the ability to learn about different blends, origins, and brewing methods to guide customer choices.
* Cash handling and POS operation skills, with attention to accuracy in billing, receipts, and daily reconciliation.
* Communication skills, including clear spoken English (Arabic language skills are an advantage) and the ability to explain product features simply and confidently.
* Organizational and showroom maintenance skills, such as stock replenishment, visual merchandising, and keeping the space tidy and safe.
* Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or food and beverage service is preferred but not strictly required.
* Ability to stand for extended periods, follow company procedures, and work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* High school diploma or equivalent; strong reliability, punctuality, and a customer-focused attitude are essential.
