Job Purpose:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, company policies, and industry standards within facility management operations. Promote a safe workplace by monitoring risks, conducting inspections, and supporting proactive safety initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards across assigned facilities.
- Conduct site inspections, safety walks, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring timely reporting and root cause analysis.
- Provide safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions to employees and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor law, local safety regulations, and international best practices.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, including audits, inspections, and training documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness by conducting drills and ensuring readiness of fire safety and emergency response equipment.
- Collaborate with supervisors and foremen to implement corrective measures and track safety performance.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during inspections and compliance checks.
- Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging reporting, awareness, and accountability across all staff levels.
- Ensure alignment of individual and team efforts with the organization's strategic goals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve desired outcomes.
Education & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience in HSE or safety roles, preferably in facility management, construction, or industrial services.
Professional Technical Certificate:
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent (mandatory).
• OSHA, IOSH, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
Key Skills:
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to conduct investigations and prepare clear safety reports.
• Strong communication and training delivery skills.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in dynamic operational environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with safety management systems.
