Role Description The Research and Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for conducting research to identify new technologies, components, and methods relevant to electronic and physical security, audiovisual, fire and safety, hospitality, and lighting solutions. The engineer will design and develop new products and features, create prototypes, and perform testing and validation to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with standards. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing technical requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting designs and test results, and supporting continuous improvement of existing products and systems. The role also involves contributing to technical feasibility studies, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting in the transition from development to implementation.
Responsibility :
- Selection of all electrical components for new products and testing them to make sure they achieve the required specs.
2- Develop and modify existing or new products in alignment with the product families.
3- Manage customer relationships and, Customer Visits and Product Testing.
4- Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with business development.
5- Studying the specifications and requirements of projects and executing technical and commercial offers.
6- Studying Technical drawings and doing lux studies and lighting design.
7- Supporting business development team and tracking the orders to ensure the delivery dates.
Requirements:
- bachelor Degree
- 1-3 experience in lighting fixtures
