Job Title: QMS & Audit Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of QMS policies, procedures, processes, and standards across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with applicable management system standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
- Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, including audit planning, execution, findings, corrective actions, and follow-up.
- Act as the key point of contact for certification bodies, external auditors, and relevant stakeholders during audits.
- Develop and maintain the organization's QMS documentation, procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
- Establish effective document control and records management systems to ensure documents are current, controlled, accessible, and properly maintained.
- Monitor and track departmental and QMS KPIs, ensuring performance is measured, analyzed, reported, and followed up.
- Monitor, verify, and validate the effectiveness of QMS controls and corrective/preventive actions.
- Lead the implementation of change management requirements within the QMS and ensure changes are properly assessed, documented, communicated, and implemented.
- Conduct shop-floor training and awareness sessions on QMS requirements, procedures, standards, and audit readiness.
- Plan and conduct internal audits across different functions and processes to assess compliance and effectiveness.
- Prepare audit reports, identify non-conformities and improvement opportunities, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Coordinate and conduct Management Review Meetings, including preparation of agendas, inputs, performance reports, action plans, and follow-up.
- Support the organization in maintaining readiness for certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.
- Promote a culture of quality, compliance, continual improvement, and process discipline throughout the manufacturing organization.
- Maintain and support the organization's EcoVadis requirements and sustainability-related documentation and assessments.
- Ensure lessons learned and audit findings are effectively communicated and incorporated into relevant processes and procedures.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of dedicated QMS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in management system implementation and auditing.
- Proven responsibility for internal and external audits, rather than supporting audits as part of a hybrid role.
- Experience working with organizations certified/assessed against:
- ISO 9001 – Quality Management
- ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
- ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety
- ISO 50001 – Energy Management
- EcoVadis
- Lead Auditor certification/training in relevant ISO standards is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QMS documentation, document control, compliance monitoring, corrective actions, and continual improvement.
- Experience in conducting management reviews and shop-floor training/awareness programs.
- Strong understanding of KPI development, monitoring, tracking, and reporting.
- Good understanding of change management and risk-based process control.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and auditing skills.
