Purchasing Engineer (Fresh – 1 Year Experience)
PMICO – Port Said Metal Industries Company is looking for a motivated Purchasing Engineer.
Experience: Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of experience in purchasing or a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Prepare purchase requests and purchase orders according to production and maintenance needs.
Request quotations from suppliers, compare offers, and support price negotiations.
Follow up on deliveries and ensure materials arrive on time and match the required specifications.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, quality, and finance teams.
Maintain supplier records and purchasing documents accurately.
Help identify and evaluate new suppliers for raw materials and industrial supplies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related field).
Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Good English (written and spoken).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Knowledge of metals, raw materials, or manufacturing processes.
