ChannelEngine is an e-commerce SaaS solution helping brands, retailers and distributors find millions of new customers by connecting them to the biggest marketplaces around the world. Our platform is built with years of real-world e-commerce experience in mind, helping our clients sell their products on more channels and connect with more buyers across borders üöÄ
ChannelEngine is looking for a Product Operations Manager üéâOur Product team operates across multiple domains and product teams. We have established the foundations of our product operating model: the next step is to turn those foundations into a reliable system that works across teams and continuously improves.
What will you do as Product Operations Manager?
Your role will be to make ChannelEngine's product organization run with greater clarity, consistency, and pace - owning the operating system that connects strategy, signals, planning, and progress across multiple product teams. üåü
Key focus areas include leading the quarterly product-planning cycle, maintaining a single trusted view of roadmaps and delivery risks, and building a lightweight reporting rhythm that surfaces uncertainty early without adding unnecessary process overhead. Through structured product signal intake and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Delivery, you'll ensure customer and market insights are consistently routed to the right Product Owner and feed directly into prioritization decisions.
Collaboration is key as you'll coach Product Owners to apply shared operating standards independently, build reusable playbooks and templates, and use automation and AI to reduce manual coordination - so the product organization spends less time compiling status and more time making good decisions.üöÄ
What makes you the ideal Product Operations Manager?
- Substantial experience (7+ years) in Product Operations, Product Management, or program management in a B2B SaaS or technology environment,
- First-hand experience running product planning, roadmap, prioritization, or portfolio processes across multiple teams,
- A strong understanding of how effective Product Managers and Product Owners work, without needing to own their product decisions,
- The ability to turn ambiguity and fragmented practices into a simple, scalable operating system,
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, including the confidence to hold agreed standards and deadlines with senior colleagues - and comfortable using data to make progress, risks, and trade-offs visible, even when the message is inconvenient,
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English,
- Currently residing within commuting distance of Leiden.
Nice to have (but not essential)
- Working with Jira, Confluence, product-roadmapping tools, analytics platforms, and workflow automation,
- Working in a marketplace, e-commerce, integration-platform, or other complex B2B product environment.
