Role Description The Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Masqaţ, Oman. This role is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments, to ensure on-time delivery to branches and customers. Daily tasks include managing inventory records, preparing shipping and export documentation, liaising with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams, and resolving delivery or scheduling issues. The Logistics Specialist will track orders, optimize routes and storage, support supply chain planning, and maintain accurate logistics reports. The role also involves responding to customer and branch inquiries related to deliveries and working closely with operations and sales to support efficient and cost-effective logistics processes.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to track shipments, manage inventory data, and solve logistics and scheduling challenges.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Supply Chain Management to support planning, procurement, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Export processes, documentation, and compliance requirements relevant to regional and international shipments.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field are preferred.
- Proficiency with logistics or ERP software and MS Office, especially Excel, is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately under time constraints, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail is important.
- Experience in furniture, home solutions, or similar distribution environments in Oman is an advantage.
