B Engineering is seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Manager with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to oversee and coordinate the company's logistics, transportation, procurement coordination, and supply chain activities. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and fluency in French to communicate effectively with French-speaking clients, suppliers, and business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily logistics operations, including transportation, shipping, deliveries, and distribution.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, transport companies, and other logistics service providers.
- Coordinate import and export activities, ensuring compliance with applicable customs regulations and shipping requirements.
- Monitor shipments, delivery schedules, inventory levels, and stock movements to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Negotiate transportation rates and service agreements to optimize logistics costs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping documents, delivery notes, invoices, and customs-related paperwork.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, finance, and other internal departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements to reduce costs, minimize delays, and enhance productivity.
- Track logistics performance indicators and prepare regular operational reports for management.
- Resolve delivery issues, transportation delays, and supplier-related problems promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and relevant logistics regulations.
- Communicate professionally in French with French-speaking suppliers, clients, and business partners.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in logistics management or a similar role.
- Fluency in French is mandatory, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid knowledge of logistics operations, transportation management, shipping procedures, and import/export documentation.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and transport companies.
- Strong organizational, planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
