Role Description:
This full-time, on-site Licensed Practical Nurse role is based in Doha, Qatar. We are seeking compassionate and competent Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care to patients with stable and predictable health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic nursing care within the authorized scope of practice.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Assist with prescribed treatments, medication administration, wound dressing, and other permitted nursing procedures.
- Support patients with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and activities of daily living.
- Document nursing care accurately and report changes in patient condition.
- Collect specimens and perform routine checks, such as random blood sugar monitoring, within the scope of practice.
- Educate patients and families and coordinate care with registered nurses and physicians.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Practical Nursing (two years after high school or equivalent).
- For overseas candidates, a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Must meet the applicable DHP registration and licensing requirements in Qatar.
- Ability to work collaboratively, maintain confidentiality, and deliver respectful, patient-centered care.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
